A very rare solid teak coffee table by Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Thorald Madsens Snedkeri. Thorald Madsens, along with Gustav Bertelsen, were one of the first cabinetmakers that the Kindt-Larsens designed for and some of their most interesting work came from this time. This design is very impressive. The entire piece is constructed from solid teak. The massive timbers that make up the tabletop are gorgeous. It is a large coffee table and would definitely be the center piece of any space. The shape of the tabletop is asymmetric. We love the truss supports that help brace the legs as well as the splayed legs. The joinery used throughout the piece is second to none and typifies the methods used in this period. This table would make a great addition to any modern living or office environment.
