A gorgeous teak armchair by Grete Jalk for P. Jeppesen. Jalk was one Denmark's only women designers throughout the 50's and 60's, and made a name for herself through her designs for P. Jeppesen's workshop. The matching easy chair to this was influential in the industry. This is a unique chair and has many design elements which are noteworthy including the rear posts that fit through the armrests and the massive solid teak backrest which "dips" down to provide more support. We love the slender armrests which are very distinguished and refined. This chair would make a wonderful seat at a dining table, or as a conference or desk chair, or just as an occasional chair.
