A rarely seen sideboard by Erik Wørts for Kjellerup Møbelfabrik. Wow, what a great design. The contrast of the light white oak and dark wenge is striking and the addition of the salmon coloured drawer front adds a focal point to the design. We also love the scalloped drawer fronts as well as the solid, finger-jointed, triangular wenge legs. The drawers are constructed with dovetail joints and are solid oak. The door handle is a single solid piece of wenge that intersects a circlular oak depression in the door. Even the inside of the piece hasn't been overlooked as we see the back surface painted in the same salmon colour as the drawer. This piece would be a wonderful addition to any collection or modern environment.
