A large oak daybed designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia A/S. This is one of Mogensen's earlier designs and was a very popular piece. It is made for relaxing! The piece has a very deep and large spring seat cushion, which is perfect for chilling out on. Throw some pillows on it and you have a perfect piece for lounging. The back cushions also have a spring form inside and can be used on the side as well if the piece is used in a corner. The frame is all solid white oak and very sturdy. The fabric is the original plaid Dnaish wool weave and is in good condition. As with most of Mogensen's pieces, it is a simple and functional piece it would be great in any Scandinavian living environment.
