A solid teak cabinet by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for Søborg
Møbelfabrik. Part of the legendary 300 series of cabinets for Søborg, these pieces are highly sought after because of their solid teak construction and simple straight forward design. This piece is one of the only ones in the series with sliding doors as opposed to tambour style doors. As mentioned, the entire piece is constructed from solid teak, a sign of true quality! The old growth teak is gorgeous and has tons of interesting grain patterns. Inside you will find two adjustable shelves. This piece would function well as a bar, a serving cabinet in a dining room, or even as a dresser. The distinguishing feature is definitely the exposed finger joints that join the outside surfaces together. A awesome piece of furniture that would fit well in almost any modern setting.
