DESCRIPTION:
A group of storage cabinets designed by Hans Wegner for Ry Møbler. This system was hugely popular in Scandinavia for good reason. They are extremely well built and can be used in a variety of ways. The construction features solid teak "shoes", solid wood shelves and drawer fronts and all brass hardware. All pieces can be interchanged and are sold in a top and bottom unit combined. The unique brass handles on the doors are pulled to unlatch the lock mechanism and open the doors. The bureau section features a drop down desk surface, compartments for letters, stationary and a a solid teak removable drawer. The interiors are all lined with beech. These pieces would be a wonderful addition any modern living or office environment.
