A beautiful and functional teak sideboard by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Mobelfabrik. Kristiansen's storage solutions for Feldballes were some of the most functional that were designed. This sideboard which is rarely seen is no exception. Its a straight forward design with four stacking drawers on one end, and two doors on the other that conceal plenty of storage area with adjustable shelves. The signature "eye" shaped handles on the drawers add a nice whimsical touch. Of note are the solid oak drawers and drawer fronts assembled with dovetail joinery, which are just outstanding. The interior is lined with a gorgeous white oak veneer. The teak has a wonderful patina and beautiful orange hue. This piece would work well as either an entertainment unit for use with your flat screen or in a dining room setting.
