A wonderful sofa designed by Ole Wanscher for P. Jeppesen. This design was also produced by France & Søn (CADO). The frame is constructed of solid mahogany which will fit well with any teak or rosewood pieces you may have. Everything about the sofa is top-notch: the massive mahogany material, the spring cushions, the seating coils and the Gabriel wool fabric. Ole Wanscher was the Professor at the Furniture School at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen for many years and his furniture is regarded as some of the finest in Danish design. The joinery is fantastic and the original Gabriel wool fabric and spring cushions are in excellent condition. A classic and sophisticated design. This sofa would complement any modern environment.
