A rare teak coffee table by Finn Juhl for Niels Vodder. We are proud to offer this design as it is one of Juhl's rarely seen designs and was produced in very small numbers. The focal point of this piece has to be the drawer. It is made entirely of solid teak and is constructed using dovetail joinery. It's angled face echoes the angled edges of the tabletop which we see Juhl employ on later designs for France & Søn. The pieceis entrely made of teak both solid and gorgeous veneers. The tabletop is cantilevered out on one side giving it another unique detail. The piece is faintly marked with Niel Vodder's stamp and it can be seen in an issue of Dansk Kunsthaandværk with the FJ56 sofa. This rarely seen design would be an awesome addition to any Juhl collection.
