DESCRIPTION:
A charming and functional flip top table designed by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. Typical of Scandinavian design, the piece is stylish and functional and is a perfect solution for small living spaces. It can be used as a small work/writing table, a dining table or even a games table. The tabletop flips open and when turned 90 degrees, can be laid flat to double the surface. Four people can sit at the table when opened. The tabletop is held together with small custom brass spring pegs which have two positions allowing them to be "hidden" when the table is open. The use of two woods; teak and beech, is classic Scandinavian. The piece would be a nice addition to any modern environment.
