DESCRIPTION:
A charming sewing / side table by Severin Hansen Jr. for Haslev Møbelfabrik. This unique piece was designed as a companion for any knitting or sewing enthusiast. It has a large basket underneath that slides out for wool or yarn storage. It also features a drawer that slides out of the front of the piece for needle, thread or accessory storage. The nice thing about this piece is that it can easily be used as a side table and the basket and drawer can be used for virtually any storage requirement. True to most of Hansen's pieces, this design features his hallmark triangular joints which are so flawlessly executed. The Brazilian rosewood is really nice and has tons of interesting grain patterns. The legs and solid rosewood. This piece would be a unique addition to any modern environment.
