DESCRIPTION:
A set of ice tongs from the Cylinda line by Arne Jacobsen for Stelton. Of any mid-20th century designer, Jacobsen has the most pieces still in production. His designs truly do stand the test of time and are as modern today as the day they were conceived. This set of tongs came in two different variations. Along with this one there was a set with holes near the end of the tongs. This design employs etched grooves in the ends for gripping ice cubes. They are fully marked with the Stelton logo and Jacobsen monogram.
