Illum Bolighus has been the premier retailer of Danish and Scandinavian premier housewares and design objects for over 80 years. It served as one of the main venues for Danish modern design throughout the 40's, 50's and 60's. This gorgeous set of teak bowls manufactured by Wiggers was sold through Illums Bolighus. They are reminiscent of Kay Bojesen's designs. They are constructed of solid teak and the teak grain is magnificent. The gently curved forms create a wealth of swirling grain patterns. All bowls are stamped accordingly and are in very good vintage condition.
