Jens Quistgaard's cast iron candle holders are much like his now famous pepper grinders; sculptural and organic. This particular design, commonly referred to as the "Crown of Thorns", but in fact named "Starholder" by Dansk, is his most sought after. This example is in excellent vintage condition. It comes with the original Dansk box. An essential piece of any Quistgaard collector or any modern collection.
