DESCRIPTION:
A classic set of Børge Mogensen oak easy chairs for Fredericia. This beloved design proved to be one of Mogensen's more popular pieces and only up until recently was still produced. Its very linear and straight forward design made it extremely versatile and was used in houses, summer cottages and office settings. The solid oak frame is accentuated by the exposed finger joints at the arms and the signature "sled" style legs giving it the nickname "Slædestole" or "Sleighchair". The seats are covered in super high quality Gabriel Danish wool and are held in place by leather straps that hook onto the frame. In typical Mogensen fashion, this piece is honest in it's design and it would be great in any Scandinavian modern setting.
