An elegant teak easy chair by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France & Søn. Hvidt & Mølgaard together with legendary manufacturer, France & Søn, produced some of Denmark's finest pieces for furniture. This easy chair is surely one of those. The dramatic sweeping armrests are the highlight of the design. Constructed of laminated teak and beech they add an organic and soft feel to the otherwise linear form. The rest of the frame is solid teak and exemplifies the quality of this piece. It is newly upholstered in a greyish green fabric which contrasts the orange hue of the teak perfectly. This model is often seen in a spoke back version, but this example has a fully upholstered back which is rarely seen. Be sure to check out the matching sofa we have in stock.
