A truly stunning pair of teak lounge chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1950 for Getama Gedsted. These chairs are classic Wegner. They are extremely comfortable to sit in but at the same time don't take up much space. The solid teak frames have a beautiful deep patina and are in very good condition with only minor signs of use. Of particular note is the custom brass hardware that attaches the gently curved arms to the rest of the frame. The wool weave fabric is the original Hallingdal Kvadrat wool. The fabric is in good condition with a couple stretched areas along the seams. The original spring cushions are in excellent condition. A great matching set to add to your modern environment.
