DESCRIPTION:
A wonderful matching set of rosewood side tables by Illum Wikkelsø for N. Eilersen. This design was orginally part of a modular system with chairs and could be arranged into a variety of combinations. While the chairs are somewhat common, the side table design is rarely seen. The solid rosewood timber frames are very impressive and the grain pattern is spectacular. The frames and banding are all constructed of solid rosewood and the edge profile matches arms of the chairs perfectly. The round edge of the tabletop softens the design slightly. This set would be a perfect match to the chairs, or used on their own in virtually any modern environment.
