A wonderful coffee table by Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Saffle.
This Danish husband and wife design team designed quite a few pieces for Saffle throughout their career. This particular piece showcases the quality manufacturing of Saffle and the design sense of the Kindt-Larsen's. It is constructed of both solid and veneer rosewood which has a gorgeous grain pattern. The legs are solid rosewood and the frame and core are all solid pine. The main feature of this design is the sliding formica covered trays that emerge from either end. These could serve a variety of purposes including serving drinks or food. The bevelled lip gives the piece its modern flare. It would make a
great addition to any modern living environment.
