DESCRIPTION:
A pair of Grete Jalk arm chairs for Glostrup Møbelfabrik. This design was very similar to an easy chair design she drew for Glostrup. The gorgeous sculpted armrests are the highlight of the design and are reminiscent of designs by Finn Juhl. They become very thin and delicate on the outside edge. The seat floats upon a solid teak frame and is joined with the same brass inserts you see on Jalk's popular coffee table design for Glostrup. The design would work well as a desk, occasional, conference or even dining chair. They would be wonderful addition to virtually any modern environment.
