A pair of Series Seven armchairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. These are the armchair version of Jacobsen's iconic Series Seven chair. The "Seven" is considered to the be best selling Danish chair ever and there are said to be over a million of them in existence. This was the second design, after the Ant chair, from this basic concept that went into production and was an instant success. The armchair version has an extension from teh rear post which is bent to form the arm of the chair and came in either wood or with upholstery. This set is covered in a light brown wool weave that is in very good condition. These chairs would fit into any modern home or office setting.
