DESCRIPTION:
A set of six dining chairs designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia. This enduring design is Mogensen's most popular and has been produced since its inception in 1947. Originally designed for the Danish co-operative FDB while Mogensen was the head of furniture design. It is a classic and straight forward design inspired by the American Shaker movement and would fit in almost any surroundings. It was usually made in beech or oak but this set is made from cherry wood, a selection chosen by Fredericia for a short period of time to mark the 50th anniversary of it's design. It is a sturdy design and the entire frame is constructed from solid wood and employes a woven paper cord seat. A fantastic set of chairs to add to your modern environment.
