DESCRIPTION:
A unique set of teak dining chairs by Arne Vodder for Vamo Sønderborg. Prior to Vodder's work with Sibast and France & Søn/CADO, he designed for several other manufacturers including Vamo. This particular design proved to be very popular and was even exported to the U.S. via importer George Tanier. The unique feature of this design is the swivelling backrest which adjusts to the user's back making for a very comfortable sitting experience. The frames are constructed from solid teak which is lovely and has a beautiful warm hue to it. The original blue melange wool is present and in good condition. This set would be a great addition to any modern dining environment.
