A nice set of six teak chairs manufactured by Vamo Sønderborg. Vamo manufactured designs for Johannes Andersen, Arne Vodder and Ib Kofod-Larsen to name a few. These chairs are a straight forward and typically Danish design with solid teak frames, simplyform but with unique features. The backrest is surely the highlight with two bowtie shaped elements that are deeply curved for support. As mentioned the frames are all solid teak which has lovely swirling grain patterns. The seats are covered in red Danish wool which is a nice contrast to the teak. The chairs are clearly marked with the manufacturer's stamp. These chairs would make a great addition to any modern dining environment.
