An outstanding and rarely seen set of six teak dining chairs by Wilhelm Wohlert for Søborg. Wohlert's designs were surely some of the most expressive of any Danish designer. This set is absolutely outstanding! The solid teak frames are in amazing condition and the teak is gorgeous. The unique curved rear posts, the floating seats perched on top of small pyramid posts and the large curved backrests are some of the design highlights. We also love the exposed mortise and tenon joinery which attaches the front and rear legs to the rest of the frame. We've covered the seats in new Kvadrat Tonus fabric which allows the teak to really stand out. This set would be the focal point of any modern dining setting.
