A nice set of bent teak plywood dining chairs attributed to Børge Mogensen for Fredericia. Identical to model #236 except for the unupholstered seats, this design can confidently be attributed to Mogensen. The straight forward design is reminiscent of his #122 chair for Soborg and his #J39 Shaker chair for FDB, all of which take inspiration from the Shaker movement. The frames of these chairs are all solid teak and both the backrest and seat are laminated teak plywood that is bent into shape. The fastener plugs add visual interest as well as serving their intended purpose. The chairs are quite comfortable with a nice contoured backrest and seat. This set would be a great addition to any modern dining setting. .
