DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful set of teak dining chairs by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for Soborg Mobelfabrik. These much sought after chairs are one of the tandem's most popular designs and for good reason. The solid teak frames are gorgeous and combined with the woven grass seats, makes for a wonderful contrast of materials. This set includes two armchairs which surely are the highlight. The delicately sculpted arms are simply awesome and are reminiscent of Finn Juhl's work. Other design features include the lip on the rear of the backrest as well as the diagonal stretchers that add a touch of variety to the structure as well as adding support. The teak has a wonderful glow to it and the tone is a warm reddish hue. This set would make a fantastic addition to any modern dining setting.
