We hand pick and make available primarily original, vintage, Danish and other Scandinavian mid-century modern furniture. We admire and stock pieces from such designers as Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl, Børge Mogensen, Kai Kristiansen, Arne Vodder, Ole Wanscher and Hans Olsen. We also stock pieces that may not have been designed by a well known designer but were crafted by elite danish cabinetmakers and are unique and showcase scandinavian functionality and appearance. When you purchase vintage furniture from us you can rest assured that you are investing in a product with no hidden flaws and a 100% genuine and original product. All pieces are selected for design, quality and condition.

We take pride in correctly evaluating and identifying each piece we sell. We do not attach attributions from well known designers to pieces in order to sell them. We research and go to great lengths to provide correct information to the buyer such as designer, manufacturer, date of design/production, country of origin and dimensions.

We prefer to preserve the objects in their original condition. However, refinishing and re-upholstering can sometimes be necessary since most pieces have been used for many years. Only pieces we would place in our own homes are selected, but please remember that vintage is used, and minor wear should be expected. We try to describe each piece as accurately as possible and in general all pieces are in good to excellent vintage condition. You are always welcome to request a condition report and detailed photos when considering a purchase.

Almost all pieces are imported directly from Denmark to our warehouse in Winnipeg, Canada. We regularly receive shipments from Denmark with new and exciting pieces for you to browse. If you don't see what you are looking for, we can try and find it for you.

Purchasing

We accept payment in U.S. dollars through Paypal (all major credit cards accepted), money order, certified or personal cheque (10 day hold), bank draft or certified cheque, or wire transfer (bank details provided upon sale). We do not generally accept returns unless it can be shown that we have grossly misrepresented the piece either in condition or description. Return shipping is the responsibility of the client. You are welcome and encouraged to request a detailed condition report and photos to help with your purchase. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have.

Unless otherwise noted, all shipping costs are paid by the customer. Shipping costs vary according to destination. We are able to ship worldwide including all major centres in Canada and the United States including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa or near any one of our carrier's many freight terminals throughout North America. We also are able to ship to Europe, Australia and Japan via ocean freight. We are more than happy to find a shipping solution that works for your budget. We can work with your own carrier if you wish. Large items are usually shipped by freight via truck or ocean. Any pieces shipped freight are custom wood crated for protection. All items usually ship within 5 to 10 business days after payment is received. Local pickup or delivery is always an option. Any duty, customs or brokerage (if applicable) is the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that with shipments to the United States over $200, a valid SS# ot TAX ID# must accompany the shipment. This is a law of the Unites States governement and as such, we must abide by it.
